Sports Achievements

On a cold and wet afternoon at the end of January, Seaford Primary entered a Boys and Girls team into the South Downs Cross Country Finals, in Lewes.
A great achievement. Well Done!

Boys Albion Cup Tournament Report By Tobi and Charlie W, Yr 6

It was on Thursday the 1st of November at the Downs hosted by Brighton and Hove Albion.

For our first game we played Harbour School and we drew 0-0. They defended very well.

In our second game vs Cradle Hill School there a lot of shots on goal, almost one after the other. Tobi scored for us, from a fairly impossible angle and the game ended 2-1 to Seaford Primary.

We played 3 more games and made it through to the final.

In the final vs Alfriston school they had a U12 Chelsea Elite Player and she was extremely good. As the game progressed, Charlie W took a throw in, Mackenzie headed it and then Tobi scored a bicycle kick to win.

Congratulations and well done to the Team who are Tobi, Charlie W, Jonny, Jammen, Aiden, Zak, Harry M and Mackenzie. A big thank you Mr. Lloyd for coaching us on Mondays, after school.

Girls Albion Cup Tournament Report By Avery and Eloise, Yr 6

On the 31st of October 2018, a group of Year 5 and 6 girls went to the Downs Leisure Centre for a football tournament. Our team did not win but we enjoyed taking part. We also had a nil - nil draw with the eventual winning side. All of us had so much fun. It doesn’t matter we didn’t win because we have just started football and we still have a lot to learn. Next time we play in a tournament we will absolutely thrash the other teams.
